Tetris Neon
A Tetris rebuild that follows the Tetris Guideline: 7-bag randomizer, SRS wall kicks, 500 ms lock delay and T-spin scoring.
01
The problem
Most Tetris clones pick pieces uniformly, rotate without wall kicks and lock on contact, so T-spins and sliding under overhangs are impossible.
02
How I approached it
A pure-function engine deals from seeded 7-piece bags, rotates through the SRS kick tables, runs a 500 ms lock delay capped at 15 move resets, follows the Tetris Worlds gravity curve and scores T-spins by the three-corner rule with back-to-back and combo bonuses. DAS and ARR run in the game loop instead of the OS key repeat.
03
The outcome
56 node:test cases pin each rule to the guideline tables, including every SRS kick pair, and ?seed=N replays a run's exact piece sequence.
