Physics Reviewer
A kinematics trainer that generates its own problems, marks them instantly and shows the full working either way.
01
The problem
A fixed question bank gets memorised. Once a student knows the answers they are testing recall of the sheet, not of the physics.
02
How I approached it
Eight generators, one per SUVAT relation, pick the knowns at random and solve for the unknown, returning the working as ordered steps so the solution can be shown rather than just the number. Every problem is screened before it is handed out: no negative times, no negative distances, no divide-by-zero, nothing absurd. Marking uses relative tolerance so two per cent means the same whether the answer is 3 or 300, with an absolute floor near zero.
03
The outcome
An endless problem set that cannot be memorised. Three thousand two hundred generated problems were checked against their own working with zero mismatches. Progress persists across sessions, and the whole loop runs on the keyboard.
