Iron Dome Interceptor

Conic-section maths as a radar interceptor: solve focus and directrix from a moving target's parametric position.

The problem

Conic geometry is abstract until it has a job to do.

How I approached it

The interceptor path is a horizontal parabola derived live from the target's coordinate at time t, with the solved focus and directrix drawn alongside the intercept.

The outcome

A visual proof that the algebra and the trajectory are the same object.
