Hollow Purple

A five-phase energy sequence that doubles as a calculus visualiser — the blue phase renders partial sums, asymptotic rings and Zeno-style halving.

The problem

Convergent series are taught as symbols, not as something you can watch approach a limit.

How I approached it

Each phase of the animation is bound to real series maths: partial sums Sₙ, the limit S∞, and the remainder Rₙ shrinking to zero, drawn as overlay geometry.

The outcome

An effects piece that actually teaches the convergence it animates.
